Tasting Notes

Terroirs is produced from only great sites and is 100% grand cru. The fruit comes from four villages in the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Oiry. The vines average 40 years old, and Agrapart uses 50% reserve wine and 50% barrel for this cuvée. The wine spends up to 36 months on lees and dosage is limited to 5g/l. Emblematic of the lacy depth and purity that Pascal Agrapart channels into all his wines, it is a wonderfully textured, pulpy and vibrant study of Côtes des Blancs greatness. It is also unbelievably delicious. Disgorgement is carried out by hand and to order, roughly two months before collection. - Importers Notes

"The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Terroirs is a very pretty wine among the entry-level selections in this range. Bright and vibrant in the glass, the Terroirs bristles with energy, the blend of fruit from sites in Avize, Oger, Cramant and Oiry works so well here. Citrus, white flowers, white pepper and crushed rocks add a super appealing upper register. This release is a blend of equal parts 2016 and 2015, with about 25% of the wine done in neutral oak. Dosage is 5 grams per liter. Best of all, the Terroirs is a superb value. Disgorged: April, 2020." - 92 points, Antonio Galloni, vinous.com
