"Lazarus rises again. Its deep hue, resurrected and made anew with plums and pickled cherries, leather and spice. A miracle wine, like the biblical raising of Lazarus. Reverse ripasso, breathing new life to aged wine poured over new pressings. Savoury-edged and brooding. Holy and complete. On the nose, pickled cherries, plums, cigar box, pavement on a hot day. On the palate, there's a saline edge that quickly gives way to earthy notes and dusty, coarse tannins. Playful acidity peppers the palate throughout leaving a creamier, soft finish. Pair with Lamb shoulder or roasted eggplant" - Winemaker Notes
