Tasting Notes

"Serious shiraz. Texture is beautiful, so silky, almost like the gloss of pinot noir but there’s a burr of savoury-edged, slightly herbal nebbiolo-esque tannin here too – succulent is a good word. Perfume is bright, red cherry, raspberry, brambles, pepper-clove spice and pot pourri with a feature of dried rose petal. So much going on in perfume. Svelte and taut in the palate, exceptionally long too, on the cusp of sweet-sour and herb lined, lovely in all that. The wine opens and evolves with time." - 95 points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
