Tasting Notes

"In any case we’re in such lovely territory here. Such spice, such foresty nuance, such calm confidence. Sparks and velvet, spice and earth, freshness and decay. It offers flesh and juice and yet savouriness sits high.  There’s a reductive smokiness here too and it works. Texture, breadth, length: everything is high class here." - 94 Points, Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front

Fruit from vineyards in the Coal River, Derwent and Tamar Valleys, the North West and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. Predominantly whole berry, 12% whole bunch including a carbonic component, natural yeast, held on skins for 16-21 days. Pressed directly to and matured in oak (5% new).
