"This vintage is a blend of Pinot Auxerrois, Gewurztraminer, Muscat and a touch of Riesling. La Fleur de Lotus was conceived and created by Jean Meyer upon returning from his first trip to Asia. Naturally, the idea of creating a dry, delicate wine with a spicy aroma, yet light in alcohol, to pair with Asian and creative cuisines, came to him.
This dry wine exudes a sense of travel. The nose reveals delicate hints of flowers and exotic fruits. It's all about releasing the airy, floral side of Gewurztraminer without the power and alcohol. The fleshy palate blossoms with freshness thanks to the presence of Muscat, then finishes with spice, which invigorates the finish in a playful and energetic way. Pepper, cardamom, and wild herbs blend gracefully." - Producer Notes
