A dry, medium rich body Junmai Ginjo from Hiroshima with a beautiful big Ginjo nose. The name of this sake means Sake is the king of a hundred medicines, a profound statement that we think makes perfect sense. Indeed, a glass of sake everyday keeps your mind relaxed and your body healthy. This sake has a slightly amber color and very prominent fruity fragrance such as pineapple or honeydew melon. With one sip, you are hit with a Tsunami of livid rice power that covers all areas of your tongue quickly, then layers of richness and umami soon follow onto your palate. We can also see steamed chestnut with a creaminess in its after taste. These rich tastes probably come from its original Koji mould and Hiroshima local Hattannishiki rice. This sake is a well crafted Junmai Ginjo for those who enjoy a Hiroshima style, fruity & semi dry sake.
