95% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo
Dried cherry, smoke, tobacco leaf and nutmeg aromatics lead into a wine of medium to full body with rich fruit without being dense. Great backbone of earth and spice. The aroma of sandalwood, red berries, and violets combine with a fresh acidity and long integrated tannic finish. The estate-grown fruit has no added yeast, nutrients, or malolactic bacteria with fermentation taking place in cement tanks.
