Tasting Notes
In collaboration with Cryer Malt & Yakima Chief Hops, we've been working on this tasty Biscuit Rye IPA, a very special release for the QLD live cross of the Indies Awards at Sea Legs Brewing Co. As opposed to traditional rye malt, we've opted to swap for a Cryer Malt supplied biscuit rye malt making up 30% of the grain bill. Pouring a deep copper, clean and tasty biscuit flavour carries a nice vanilla, citrus & herbal hop aroma compliments of Yakima Chief Hops experimental hop HBC 520.
