Tasting Notes

70% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Franc

"A stunning and beautiful red with aromas of dark plums and orange peel, as well as peppers and wet earth. Even black truffle. Full-bodied, super velvety yet tight and plush in texture. Amazing fruit and balance at the same time. Fantastic finish. Cabernet franc is from Altamira and malbec from Gualtallary. Drink in 2022 but already a joy to taste." - 99 Points, James Suckling

Dark fruit comes singing out of the glass - plums, blackberries, blackcurrants and hints of pomegranate, accompanied by notes of cocoa, vanilla, sweet tobacco and violets.  Mouth-filling and super textured, with lush, ripe fruit and layers of chalky tannins, the palate is remarkable, both for its length and for its balance. This is a beautiful wine with the perfect amount of tannins and freshness to last another decade, but oh-so good right now. - TWE
