"The tiny village of Watervale (population of 246), nestled in South Australia’s Clare Valley, is renowned for the quality of its Riesling. As the third generation of the Barry winemaking family, we now hold the keys to this boutique winery. This is our sixteenth vintage from clos Clare’s Riesling patch, adjoining the historic ‘Florita’ vineyard in Watervale. Aromas of wet limestone and slate, with a delicate white floral lift, and an abundance of fresh citrus. Intense citrus flavours lead the palate, accompanied by bath salts and a chalky/limestone texture. A tight and purposeful acid line holds this moreish wine together, giving it a crisp, refreshing finish." - Tom & Sam Barry, Winemakers
