"Our Fixin cuvée is made from a blend of localities "Petit Crais", "Crais de Chêne" "Les Clos" and "Herbus" north of the villages of Fixey and Fixin. Easy to drink from a young age, supple, elegant, fruity and airy." - Winemaker Note
"Although the oak cask maturation marks this wine at the start, behind this there are robust ripe black cherry fruit aromas with plenty of depth. The texture on the palate is lively and fresh, with firm tannins and moderate length. It is produced from a selection of grapes from this site vinified as whole clusters; the cuvée is not produced every year. This drinks well now but should hold for mid-term ageing." - Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
