"From one site in 2023, but hey, it's back. Was a slow burn on the coast, a wet start and a pretty mild ripening period, this came in fairly late in the piece, but we were happy to see it in the shed after we didn't release in 2022. All whole berry here, the tannin is more rugged than the other regions, a more graphite thing we seem to see. Soil driven pinot. On skins for about a week, pressed off nice and warm to finish in oak - looking for texture to go with the edgy structure. No fining or filtration either." - Winemaker Notes
