"West Tamar fruit, hand-picked, 20% whole bunch, cold soak before wild ferment, basket pressed before dryness into mainly old French oak barrels, unfined, coarse filtered. Medium to intense burgundy red. Ripe cherry, plum and strawberry fruit with some warmer spice and underwood characters. Subtle oak influence. Relatively soft attack, medium acid, young chalky tannins which will soften quickly. Medium bodied with a long finish." - Winemaker Notes
