Description
Founded in 1960 as a co-operative, Santadi is a leading Sardinian winery with 200 growers across 600 hectares in Sulcis. It produces a full range of wines, from Vermentino and Nuragus to Monica, Cannonau, and Carignano.
This red wine shows a dark core with a brick-red rim, offering lifted aromas of morello and dried cherry, with notes of liquorice, scorched earth, herbs, and spice. The palate is juicy and rustic, featuring black cherry, liquorice, dried herbs, and cinnamon, supported by chewy tannins and a long, spicy finish.
