Description
"Caranto is the name given to the compact layer of clay at the bottom of the Venetian Lagoon. The ochre and brown colours on the label are a reference to this natural element, which has been shaped over many centuries. It calls to mind the distant past, just like the evocative flavour of our Pinot Noir. Ruby in colour, the aromas are intense, pleasant, reminding of strawberry and raspberry. The palate is harmonic, savoury, with body without excesses." - Winemaker Notes
