Here is a wine for lovers of all thing Chablis! What stands out most about the 2022 'Les Chanoines' is just how nicely balanced this wine is - there's lovely freshness, outstanding purity, no hard edges - but it still remains so typically Chablis. The wine is aged on lees in stainless steel in order to bring some further texture to the middle of the palate - not so much increasing the wine's weight per se, but rather lending a more aesthetic component to that light-medium bodied appeal. The finish is super, tinged with the signature oyster shell mineralité and stonefruit citrus allure of a classic Chablis.The relatively open-knit structure means this needs no time to 'open up', making it extremely versatile and ready to enjoy at a moment's notice - Our Notes
"Bright notes of fresh citrus, white flowers and mineral nuances mingle on the nose. The elegant palate is driven by vibrant acidity and expressive flavours of citrus and stone fruit. The vines are located on the clay-limestone 'Kimmeridgian' soil, which has both excellent acidity and remarkable finesse.
