Description
Laurent Roumier's plot within Clos Vougeot is superbly placed at the topof the vineyard, hard-up against the Grand Cru Grands Echezeaux. It's a gorgeous wine, packed with all the great facets of Grand Cru Burgundy, but it will require a few years to settle into its gait. Judging from past vintages, the peak drinking here is around 15-20 years. - TWE
