Description
Albe is a tribute to the traditional style of Barolo and the region’s winemaking masters, Nebbiolo from high-elevation vineyards (380-480 metres) with varied exposures from south-southeast to southwest—each offering a unique “sunrise,” or alba. Organically farmed since 1971 and cultivated with deep respect for biodiversity, these vineyards produce fruit of great energy and clarity. Aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak casks, a vibrant Barolo offering aromas of fresh flowers, rose petal, red fruits, tobacco, and orange peel, with a long finish and velvety tannins.
