"Our Cabernet was sourced from the Schulz Primrose Vineyard in Ebenezer in the Northern Barossa Valley. Handpicked, hand sorted, de-stemmed, and open fermented prior to being matured for 16 months in a blend of new and second use French oak. Deep bright red tinged with purple. Fruit driven, plummy red current fruit supported by powerful Barossa Tannins and natural acidity. This is absolutely classic cabernet from the cool and exceptional 2022 harvest. The wine is drinking beautifully now but will improve for many years." - Winemaker Notes
