"A wine which is of such enormous interest, as well as quality – an Amarone style from Barossa Shiraz. Handpicking into ten kilo buckets, before the grapes were laid out on racks to dry. It is no shrinking violet, and some may find it all a bit much, but for those who enjoy this style, they will revel in this wine. Dark maroon. Red cherries, spices, florals, a sweet core of cassis. This is all supported by notes of coffee beans, mocha and chocolate. Ripe and rich, and yet it is finely balanced with impressive length and soft, cashmere like tannins.
