Description
// 2021 New York Time's Best Wine Book
The new book is (even) longer than the first edition – 800 pages compared to 656. It describes more vineyards and more producers, and also has in-depth coverage of the zones where Burgundy is most accessible and affordable – Chablis, the Mâconnais, the Chalonnaise.
Jasper has also revised and expanded his first section, the Background to Burgundy – the techniques and philosophies used in growing grapes and making wines; the environmental factors such as climate change, the debate about terroir.
