“This is highly aromatic. Rubbed fresh herbs and orange peel. A bit like Earl Grey tea with its bergamot perfume. Dusty earth tannins. The flavours are ripe but verge on red-fruited. Cranberries and dried goji berries, some briar rose jam lift too. It’s a quaint wine, pretty but a little gritty. It has an amaro thing going on.
