Description
Tenuta Rocchetto is a single vineyard of only 4 hectares located to the east of Florence, in Larciano. A small amount of Merlot grown on the property is included in the Chianti, the remainder being used for the Fiero super-tuscan blend.
A very classic Chianti, filled with cherries and earthy dark flowers. At this price point, we were seriously impressed by the balance between acidity, tannins and fruit weight. This is such a great little number for pasta or pizza night, or even just on its own, slightly chilled. Buy with confidence!
