"A cool and high rainfall spring following a wet winter made for a high vigour season in the vineyard with small berries and cluster bunches. Slow ripening due to cool weather in summer made for a stretched picking season. Fruit with good expression of varietals and acid drive and balance. Lower than expected yields.
Elegantly complex and inviting, the bouquet shows ripe stone fruit, citrus peel, oatmeal and nougat characters. The palate is equally charming with succulent fruit flavours backed by fine texture and bright acidity. Good for young drinking." - Winemaker Note
