Description
"Mealy, nutty aromas, along with citrus pith, white stone-fruit, vanilla and nettle. Fleshy, pithy, textured and with plenty of layers of flavour. Nectarine, grapefruit and a complex, leesy creaminess. There’s lovely texture, mouth-feel and complexity" - 92 points, Aaron Brasher
"Sourced from our Somerset Vineyard. The block was planted by the Howard family in 2007 on fine clay loam soil, the fruit was hand picked, whole bunch pressed and juice transferred directly to large format seasoned French oak, where the wine underwent barrel fermentation. During the eleven month èlevage, bâtonnage was conducted to build creamy texture to support the fruit and subtle oak spice. " - Winemaker Angus Vinden
