Tasting Notes

West Tamar fruit, mainly destemmed, small fraction whole bunch, wild ferment, extended time on skins, basket pressed into mainly old French oak barrels, unfined, unfiltered, screwcap. Medium burgundy red. Earthy, underwood flavours combined with ripe raspberry and strawberry characters. Soft attack, slight grip on the fore mouth, medium body with good volume and lengthy finish.
