Description
"The latest rendition of Delamotte's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs is drinking very well out of the gates, offering up aromas of crisp orchard fruit and citrus zest mingled with hints of fresh bread and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, with bright acids and chalky grip, concluding with a dry finish, this is a classy, seamless wine that will offer a broad drinking window." - 93 Points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
"This is an elegant composition of chardonnay grapes – and has refinement and elegance in abundance. The aromas on the nose reflect lime blossom, stephanotis and soft green ferns which follow through on the palate with lemons, limes, green apples, green pears and sprigs of lemon grass & chervil. White peaches & nectarines shine through with preserved citrus rind and a rich layer of lime marmalade. Then flicks of monstera deliciosa, sprinkled over with some talc-chalk. There are hints of mineral throughout the palate, blanched cashews, macadamia nuts, lemon curd & almond milk on toast interspersed with slivers of nougat.
Such a stylish and beautiful wine – at a fraction of the price you pay for the highly lauded & expensive Salon!! What a superb champagne for Christmas morning to put the palate in the right mood!" - Bernadette O'Shea, Champagne Consultant
