Description
"It is very elegant with freshness, precision and its own crystalline vibrance. The nose displays white peach blossom, apple blossom & watsonia. The grapes come from Trépail, Villers Marmery and Côte de Sézannais. There are flavours of white nectarines, white peach, new pineapple and pear with mineral notes and chalky characters. Layers of blanched cashews, white almonds flash through the palate, along with the limestone characters. It is buttery and rich showing the 5 years on lees and comes from the 2015 base. It has great blending, well balanced, with a delightful finesse and a hint of sappiness. Ideal wine for a hot Queensland day!" - Bernadette O'Shea, Champagne Consultant
"The latest release of Palmer's NV Blanc de Blancs Brut is showing very well indeed, bursting from the glass with a ripe and expressive bouquet of grapefruit, orange zest, toasted bread, white flowers and nectarines. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with an elegantly textural attack, fine depth at the core, ripe but racy acids and a long, flavorful finish. This has always been one of Palmer's emblematic cuvées and this disgorgement would appear to be a particular success." - 92 Points, The Wine Advocate
