Description
"Sourced from Gully Road at 550m elevation and the lilliputian Aesctun vineyard at 500m. Adelaide Hills vineyards at such elevations belong in a rarified group of extremely cool climate sites ideally suited to the Pinot Noir grape. Fair winter rains were followed by a mild summer. Yields were low with light bunches of excellent quality." - Winemaker Notes
"The 2022 Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir has sandalwood and coffee grounds on the nose, with nutmeg, a hint of Ovaltine, black cherry and spice to boot. The wine is shaped by woodsy spice tannins, which leads though to the finish. This is a fine wine, with savory detail and elegance." - Erin Larkin, Wine Advocate
