Description
"The 2022 vintage was exceptional, little tight bunches of perfect health left to ripen until the very last days of March. From the moment it hit the winery we knew we had something special, every time we looked it exceeded expectations. Not sure on its ceiling. Can’t wait to see it develop in bottle. The fruit and the wood integration is just about – in Australia – as good as it gets. Probably the best Musk Creek Pinot Noir so far. Like wood on the earth, like fungi, not rotten wood it is different, just gently decomposing. Sous Bois – the smell of the earth beneath the forest floor. And as for the moderate acidity, it adds to the generosity, very sweet ripe tannin, beautiful wood integration. It’s complete. Deep Autumn – very happy." - Tasting Notes
