Description
"The 21 Year Old Para Tawny stands alone as a single vintage wine, whereby the most select parcels of 2003 vintage wine are drawn from barrel and bottled as a special celebratory release. Its style therefore has the added complexity of being a reflection of the growing conditions during a singular season. Parcels have matured in old oak hogsheads. Brandy spirit has been used as the fortification element, which along with extensive oxidative ageing, gives rise to roasted nut, praline and spiced aromas and flavours. COLOUR - Medium tawny with amber hues. AROMA - Bold and rich with characters of hazelnut and espresso coffee. PALATE - Rich and generous, lingering flavours of nuts, coffee, praline with a persistent mouth feel." - Winemaker Notes
