Bouchard's 2022 Volnay "Clos des Chenes" 1er Cru is a focused, elegant and chalky 1er Cru of superb power and presence. The complexity and detail is already high, but this does require time for the palate to temper. The reqirement for cellaring time is built into the inexpense buy price. Even today its still a gorgeous glass of wine, but in time you'll find the buy price of this wine to be an absolute bargain.
