"Hand-harvested fruit from estate vineyard in Marananga. Matured 36 months in 65% new French oak barrels. Unfined and unfiltered. The roast cashew nut and dark chocolate of new French oak is the focus right now, with a full 3 years in barrel bringing its dry, savoury influence and the beginnings of leathery complexity. Tangy, crunchy red/black berries of impressive concentration arise in time. Fine fruit and oak tannins and powdery acidity entangle on a conclusion of grand persistence. It's charged with all it needs to burst through that brittle oak shell, with sufficient patience." - 94 points, Tyson Stelzer
