Description

"The grapes are hand picked with care to avoid any bruising. They then undergo pneumatic pressing. Only the juice that runs naturally from the grapes is used (i.e. not pressed juice), which is left to clarify for 18 to 24 hours. Temperature controlled fermentation. The wine is a brilliant pale gold. On the nose, there is a fine bouquet full aromas of white flowers and yellow fruit such as pears. One finds citrus notes such as grapefruit. The attack is gentle with a lovely vivacity where one finds agreeable notes of grapefruit on the lingering finish. It is a lovely wine, ripe and refreshing." - Winemaker Notes

"Light to medium straw colour, with a slightly muffled bouquet revealing a little early development. Subtle honey, malt and tealeafy nuances. The wine is medium-bodied and slightly off-dry, although the zesty acidity balances it neatly and makes a fine juxtaposition. The ratios of fruit, acid and sweetness result in an irresistibly lively, energetic palate. A lovely drink." - 92 Points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
