The Wine Emporium is thrilled to announce we're hosting Matthieu Luneau from Domaine Faiveley in Brisbane for two very exciting dinners, to be held in conjunction with Ecco Bistro at Newstead on the nights of Thursday 29th and Friday 30th June.
The two dinners offer a very rare opportunity to sample the finest vineyards of the region, at a price we think is a steal! Regardless of your experience with the great Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines of Burgundy, we think there is something for everyone.
Faiveley are an extensive landholder in both the Cotes de Beaune and Cotes de Nuits, which, coupled with their strong, long-standing negociant relationships, give them access to many of the greatest vineyards in Burgundy.
The first dinner is a great introduction to the classification heirarchy in Burgundy, where we look at village, 1er Cru and Grand Cru across both the Cotes de Beaue and Cotes de Nuits.
The second dinner is a deep dive into the great Grand Cru's both white and red, an experience we don't anticipate being able to offer again for quite some time (and certainly not for that price!) Look below for all the details!
