We're thrilled to announce we have an amazing evening planned with the iconic wines of Luciano Sandrone at E'cco Bistro on Wednesday the 5th of June, with tickets available now!
After huge success at our Albino Rocca Barbaresco dinner at E'cco back in March (where a number of foodies kindly commented that we provided the best wine and food experience they had ever experienced!), we couldn't wait to retest their great kitchen on Barolo, and we're beyond excited that it will be the wines of Sandrone.
These are simply some of the most masterfully executed Barolo on the market today. Being on the slightly more contemporary side, the hallmark of Sandrone's wines is their ability to marry power and intensity, purity with balance. This is Nebbiolo of effortless balance and completeness, brought about by organic viticulture and fastidious attention to detail in both the winery and cellar. They have earnt their place among Barolo's elite growers.
Barbara Sandrone from the estate is joining us as host for the evening, talking you through each of the wines and what they represent for the house. What's more, we have access to the entire restaurant for this special night, having worked closely with the kitchen in order to create the ideal food pairings for each bracket.
