"Vin Santo DOC Poderi del Paradiso is one of the great Italian dessert wines! This Vin Santo is made in a beautiful San Giminiano area in Tuscany and of 92% Trebbiano and 8% Malvasia grapes. The wine expresses apricot and floral notes with a hint of honey on the nose. Much the same on the palate, with balanced sweetness and long finish. This Italian sweet wine has an elegant, well-balanced flavour with notes of almond and dried flowers. The wine matches perfectly with desserts, sweets and traditional Cantucci (almond biscuits). Vinification: drying the grapes until December and ageing for at least 4 years in oak casks of 100 litres." - Dolce Vita Wine Club
