"Friulano, the region’s most important grape (the locals still call it Tocai, by the way) is outstanding and there is no better grape to pair with a plate of prosciutto (especially if it’s from d’Osvaldo). From a small parcel of 40-year-old vines, the wine is fleshy with a creamy texture and hints of peach and almond with the classic minerality of the Collio. Fosarin, a blend of 40% Friulano, 40% Pinot Bianco and 20% Malvasia, is fresh and fruity in its youth, building complexity with time in the bottle to reveal a full, rich palate with wonderful depth – a worthy and great value Tre Bicchieri winner." - Importer Note
