Description / Reviews
"The Nebbiolo grapes used to produce Barolo Riserva 10Anni come from two of the most important vineyards in the municipality of Verduno: Monvigliero and Boscatto. The resulting grapes are highly concentrated and rich in substances. Once they arrive at the winery, the grapes from the two Crus are vinified separately, and each individual batch is aged for five years in large wooden casks. Only at this stage are the two wines blended into a single one, which will then remain in the cask for another five years: the Riserva 10 Anni." - Bel Colle, Winemaker
"Time has worked its magic here. Juicy plums dance with dried figs, while a bouquet of potpourri and dried rose petals floats above. Wild herbs like thyme and mountain sage add a savory kick, and there's this cool crushed stone note lurking beneath. The fruit still bounces with energy, supported by tannins that have mellowed into silk." - Jeff Porter, WineEnthusiast.com
