"My grandparents had an almond orchard in the Riverland, and on the warmer days the floral and nutty aromas carried in the breeze all the way back to their home on the property. This wine is reminiscent of that time. Apple, apricot, pear and almond husk, the gentle tug of well-handled phenolics, a slight saline bite. A little juniper, too.
