Description
"Their own vineyard, planted in 1946. Tiny little grapes. Pale in colour. A little oak is present but you can sense the fruit weight waiting below. Effortless, graceful wine, with a bright ripe apple intensity, plenty of flesh without being heavy, and a tightly wound finish with good acidity. Drink from 2028-2032." - 91-93 points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
"The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Les Ensigneres has a slate-tinged bouquet that just doesn't quite have the charm of the Les Clous tasted alongside. The palate is more "happening" with citrus lemon, orange zest and light chai notes. It's pretty measured on the finish. Fine, but perhaps playing it safe. Tasted at Dorian restaurant in London." - 90 points, Neal Martin, Vinous
