Description / Reviews
"Blueberry and ripe Marion berry, taut black-skinned plum, a rustic note of oregano and moist dirt. Assertive acidity and lacy tannins knit together with the soft fernery of the whole bunch." - ChaLou, Winemaker
"Medium depth of bright red-purple hue; there are aromas of smoked meats and ripe cherry, traces of blackberry on the palate where it's rich and intense, with very good weight and drive, ending in a long farewell with ample tannins in balance, providing backbone. Smart and satisfying pinot noir." - 93 Points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
"40% whole bunch and remaining whole berry. Matured in 10% new French oak. Some deep tones of black fig and Bing cherries. A push of violet and lavender spice that works well with its treat bag of spices. There is crushed beetle, poppy seed and star anise. Turned potting soil and porcini mushroom. The bunch element manages to dial up the extract, providing quite a sinewy tannin palate. This has muscle as well as finesse. Think along the lines of a kick-ass pilates trainer. A wine to watch." - 93 Points, Shanteh Wale, Halliday Wine Companion
