"A delicate, bright and serene edition of one of Champagne’s top, if lesser-known, prestige blanc de blancs, emphasising purity over creamy richness. Plenty of ripe aromatics, with fragrant apricot, mandarin, some fresh mango playing with hazelnut and coffee macaron complexity. There’s a calm insistence to the palate, closer to the 2004 than the tension and drama of 2007 or the generosity of 2006. Seems set to be one of the vintage’s top performers." - 95 Points, Tom Hewson, Decanter
"Complex biscuity, yeasty undertones to this blanc de blancs, along with crushed almonds, pears and apples. It’s fresh and beautifully integrated on the palate with silky and elegant layers, fine bubbles and attractive, lingering pastry character. Drink now or hold." - 95 Points, Claire Nesbitt, James Suckling
"Only the 8th time this wine has been made in over 40 years. Masses of very fine bubbles on first pouring. Inviting, almost ethereal chalky citrus aroma. Masses of mouth-watering tension and freshness, with great precision. Tightly wound but not lean because it is so well balanced. Pure, chalky, crisp and very long. Elegant, gently complex, with only subtle creamy/yeasty autolytic character. The crisp citrus fruit still dominates after all this time on the lees, though the lees ageing shows in the rich texture." - 18/20, Julia Harding MW, Jancis Robinson
