100% Pinot Noir. Sancerre Rouge, particularly in a riper vintage like 2022, is a terrific alternative to Bourgogne Rouge. The wines are generally a little lighter, and in the case of this example, the wine is bright, crucnchy, red fruited and streamlined. Al ittle lighter on its feet, its also particularly good value and very food friendly. - TWE
