"The 2023 Fleurie Chapelle des Bois comes from 40-to-50-year-old vines with a small amount of younger vines on sand/pink granite soils. This has a more concentrated oyster shell-tinged bouquet that is much more backward in style. The palate is medium-bodied, tart and fresh, with crunchy red fruit and noticeable acidity. It's not long but full of nascent energy. This will be difficult to resist in its flush of youth. (Drink between 2025-2032)" - Neal Martin, Vinous
