"The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Champ has a patina of oak on the nose, but there is sufficient fruit to soak that up. The palate has plenty of body and is well defined. It's quite spicy on the entry, with more grip and extract than its peers yet the finish has plenty of freshness and vigor.
