Description / Reviews
"Bright aromas include those of citrus, apple and a whiff of petrol character. The succulent, round and nicely voluminous flavors possess reasonably good punch on the bitter zest-inflected finale that is clean, dry and attractively refreshing. Worth a look as this is better than the average Bourgogne." - Allen Meadows for Burghound
"Grapes fermented in stainless steel tanks and near the end of fermentation, the wine is transferred to small oak barrels to ferment dry and complete malolactic fermentation during barrel aging. Batônnage is used sparingly as the wines of Chassagne are already rich. All wines are aged eight to nine months in 20 - 30% new oak. Exotic aromas swirl with white and yellow fruit notes. The palate is rich with textural pears and apples and a round mouthfeel supported by juicy, citrus acidity." - Terlato, Importer
