"Located on the top and the southwest slopes of the hill of Epfig, the Fronholz vineyard gives wines with marked minerality, firm acidity, and elegant aromas that can be rather discreet in their youth. The estate’s four hectares are divided among Riesling (1 ha), Muscat (0.3 ha), Pinot Noir (0.3 ha), Pinot Gris (0.75 ha), Gewurztraminer (1.3 ha), and Sylvaner (0.35 ha)." - Kermit Lynch, Distributor

"The NV Gewurztraminer Fronholz A l'Orient d'Eden is a blend of 2021 and 2022. Strangely, this is allowed to carry its appellation name as a multi-vintage wine. The nose is of ripe, almost rosy peach, with a more distant hint of honeysuckle, but all is hinted at. Nothing is obvious or heady. The palate has that same peachy, gentle, light touch, made even more light-footed by the presence of really fine, bright, lemony freshness. This is a lovely combination without heaviness and a wine of immense gastronomic potential with 25-30 g/L of residual sweetness that comes across as merely off-dry. (Off-Dry)" - 92 Points, Anne Krebiehl MW, Vinous
