Description
"Vineyard planted in 1967 and 1968, located on the hill overlooking the village of Savigny, geographically close to Les Champlains. This locality has a very unique identity indicated by its name: Perrières, which means "pile of stones" or "quarry." The wine is structured, taut, chiseled, and very long on the palate, complemented by a beautiful minerality." - Winemaker Notes
"Pale colour, notably reductive on the nose. Fresh apples, a little in the cidery sulphur free style, with a positive bench of white fruit thereafter. Medium length, with good acidity. Has been reductive all its life so may not be sulphured. Drink from 2025-2027." - 87-89 Points, Jasper Morris for Inside Burgundy
