A 1.35ha vineyard located above Nuits St Georges. A place that holds its acidity well in the current climate – 380-400m altitude. Only about 1-2 days later maturing than the rest.
"The 2023 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Aux Chaumes has a subtle, floral bouquet with impressive precision and poise. Its very pure red fruit seems to shimmer with energy. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip and slightly darker fruit than the regular Hautes-Côtes. More salinity comes through on the finish. Excellent." - 90-92 points, Neal Martin
"This is aromatically quite similar to the straight Hautes Côtes but with a violet top note. There is however a bit more volume to the vibrant and stony medium weight flavors that display noticeably more depth and persistence on the nicely balanced finale. This is an excellent Bourgogne." - Allen Meadows
